Redeeming Red Events 2015

Decoding Dyslexia-TN is participating in the #RedeemingRed movement that started with the non-profit Roundtable picSolutions in 2013. This is the brainstorm idea of a then 10 year old boy who asked his mother, Christie Aitken, “when are they going to do something for dyslexia, mama?” Read their story here.

This year, our state is lighting several buildings, bridges and monuments red to celebrate our dyslexic kids and reclaim this usually dreaded color that so often colors their papers (red ink). Red is a color of empowerment, and we want to empower our kids to follow their dreams and celebrate their strengths. We want them to know we stand with them!

We are constantly adding more events, but here is our current #RedeemingRed Tennessee 2015 schedule. All are invited!
